Sounds like Yedlin played well relative to his team today. One assist and multiple great sideline runs and chances created from crosses.

Pretty standard Yedlin. Made himself dangerous.

That was a fun Spurs match to watch. Biggest defeat for Man City in any competition since Liverpool beat them 3-0 in April 2011.

 

This team has shown flashes the last couple seasons. Beating City today. Crushing Chelsea 5-3 on New Years last year. Coming back and beating Arsenal a month later. They're not there yet, but they've got the talent to do big things. They still make Spursy mistakes (usually in the Kyle Walker category, like today) but the biggest difference is defense. It's only 7 games but they've only allowed 5 goals after giving up 53 last year.

 

I don't think they've played particularly well on the whole this year and yet they sit in 5th.

 

In other news, good to see Chelsea struggle again.

Thought the EPL was going to bounce back this year but no one looks great and more parity.

 

Chelsea at a -3 GD after 7 is hilarious. West Ham and Leicester have score the most goals so far.

LOL Arsenal. Now they have get at least 3 points against Bayern plus hope that Olympiacos and Zagreb either tie a couple times or split wins.

EPL was in danger of losing their 4th UCL spot in 17-18 to Italy before this loss. Can't imagine this helps, although Roma also had a bad loss.

Man City losing at home to Juve put that nail in the coffin, but Arsenal's disdain for this CL isn't helping.
