Thats right, screw you Italy!!!

Seriously, group C is the most ridiculous group of death I've ever seen. I don't see Italy missing out though. I think it'll be your Dutch boys or France.

Me too, and probably Holland at that. Holland will either reach the finals or crash out in the first round. Not only is their group brutal, they get Italy 1st, then France 2nd. I look at the Dutch roster and I see so much potential not to mention what seems like Seedorf's 8th straight straight Euro's. I think Holland will go as far as Arjen Robben can take them. They have the strikers, but Robben is the spark plug.

I forgot to say it again, "Screw You Italy"

Wow, that's great. I should be able to see almost every game. Four years ago I had to either pay per view games (and that wasn't even an option all the time) or hope a bar was showing the games (they likely weren't). Should be a great tournament. Good thing it won't be too distracting for me as I study for the bar...

4 years ago my buddy Alex bought the whole package from Dish Network and then we both worked schedules where we got to work at 5 AM and then left early and hung out at his house and ordered takeout Chinese at least 5 days a week for the length of the tournament

There are rumors that Real Madrid is set to buy Xavi Alonso from Liverpool for 19 million. I like Alonso, but if they can get 19 for him they have to take it, as they can buy Barry to replace him and still have 6 or 7 million to spend on a winger or back. Then they can sell off Crouch and a few others and find another winger or striker.

It looks like Arsenal is set to pay 16 million for Ben Arfa. This is a very good signing especially if they lose Hleb and Fleminin which there have been rumors of. They are going to need more midfielders and Ben Arfa is a good winger.

Btw, it's total BS that FSC doesn't have the Fulham game. I don't know if my soccer bar is open early enough for the game.

agreed, big thumbs down to fsc and its choice of matches today. i don't know how many choices they are able to pick from, but having chelsea on instead of the man utd is wrong. they should at least show the tape delays of relegation matches.

Arsenal should sign Landon Donovan to replace Eduardo.

Agreed on this and the fact that FSC sucks for not showing a single match of interest.

Wow. Fulham's worst regular, Danny Murphy, scores and Fulham win 4 of their last 5 to stay up. Good news for Dempsey, Boca and EJ (I guess).

Bad news for our cbackup LM Convey and backup GK Hannemahn, though. Reading go down despite pummeling Derby 4-0. Benny Feilhaber got in the game, though, which I don't think has happened since like October.

And congrats to Man U.

Not sure how Fulham did it, but its a miracle.

Manu deserved the title this season as much as I hate it. Actually Ronaldo deserved the title more than anyone else. I hope he has a big trophy case with all the awards he will be taking home.

i'm can't say i'm disappointed chelsea didn't win the title today, they simply didn't deserve this year. man utd was the better team throughout the year.

fulham staying up is big, for no other reason than the usmnt.

i can't wait for may 21st in moscow. hopefully chelsea can win one trophy this bizarre season. if drogba and terry are out, i'm not going to be optomistic.

It looks like Fulham may get a spot in the UEFA Cup as well. England gets an extra team due to fair play, and Man City had a man sent off yesterday which means Fulham might get that spot. It would be good to see Dempsey and Boca get to play in some European competitions.

The shake-up has begun at the Bridge. Belletti is gone after this season. I could see Essien, Lampard and Drogba leaving as well. Roman is going to go spend crazy as per usual.

This was a quote from Ruud Gullit after their loss to the Red Bulls at home this Saturday:

"It's a pity," Galaxy Coach Ruud Gullit said. "It's frustrating. The players have possibilities, they can play very good football, but sometimes in a game they switch off. They think they can do it only on talent. But it takes hard work."

I wonder who he is talking about...

I just saw a report on ESPN that Sven Goran Eriksson has reached a deal to become the new head coach of the Mexican national team.

For all the crap he got in England, that's a very, very good move for the FMF. And consequently bad for us.
