Turn around

Look at what you see

In her face

The mirror of your dream

Make believe I'm everywhere

I'm hidden in the lines

And written on the pages

Is the answer to a neverending story

Reach the stars

Fly a fantasy

Dream a dream

And what you see will be

Rhymes that keep their secrets

Will unfold behind the clouds

And there upon the rainbow

Is the answer to a neverending story, story

Show no fear

For she may fade away

In your hands

The birth of a new day

Rhymes that keep their secrets

Will unfold behind the clouds

And there upon the rainbow

Is the answer to a neverending story

THE NEVERNDING STORRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Man, I'm so freakin' lame.

I have that song on 7" vinyl.

That's lame.

appropriate or not, Kajagoogoo and solo acts that sprung from Kajagoogoo should never be reverenced ever again anywhere.

I remember going to a game in the early 90's that went into the 14th inning, and Harry went out between half innings and sang the 7th inning stretch again. We needed something like that three innings ago.

I was at a game at Wrigley that went past 14 innings with a double dip 7th inning stretch.

It was against the Reds, Andre Dawson set a record for most intentional walks in a game, the Cubs lost.

played an 18 inning game once in college and went 0-8...it was lovely. I think it brought my average down 22 points or something.

Ha, you suck! I never went 0-8 in college.

yes, but you were no doubt 0-8 with females in college. :-)

thanks to the all the clete chasing whores, i never went 0-8 in that regards :D

This is the longest game thread since the 6/2 extra-inning affair in St. Louis. That was 70 pages (premium) though.

And that one only went 14! We need to catch up.

speak of the devil, i believe that game was against South Alabama, Juan Pierre's alma mater.

Do you recall if that game was in Mobile? I remember going to the latter half of a really, really long game at Stanky Field a few years back. The lights were on...we were drunk.....

I wish I was 0-8 when I look back at some of those skanks.

"Clocks". Very nice touch.

What was the last time a Cub reached base?

Izzy in the 12th I think. Zambrano hit into a DP right after.

Edit: after reading that back, I am going to pretend that this is a different game thread and Dusty finally found out where to bat Izturis
