It might be the only shower these cards fans have gotten this week (plus, its better than the hose down they got in jail last week).

If you go into a rivals park with a sign like that you really deserve to get it with a water hose. I have always said if you are going to the lions den dont wear a porkchop around your neck. Have some class. Most Cardinal fans that I have seen at Wrigley are very classy and are just cheering for their team. I am glad to see that the exceptions got a little of what is coming.

I would also say that if any Cub fan went to Busch and did this sort of thing they are only asking for trouble and should get what they are asking for.

This type of dedication/devotion surely helps ease the anger towards his subpar season.

His numbers aren't subpar. They are right on track compared to his career.

That is hilarious. Why do the signs say different things in the two pictures? Any word on how the media is covering this, if at all?

Clearly, he decided to go after more than one heckler. ;)

Also, in past games where the weather was like this (heat warning today!), typically players from the Cubs come out with hoses and use them on the fans in the bleachers. It's a surprisingly good way to cool down.

I doubt there were many complaints.

If you look closely at the two pictures, he's spraying down the same fan.

Yep, same people around him. Probably wanted to get sprayed in that heat, so kept holding up different signs. Dempster, oblidged him.

It is well known that Cardinal fans are known for witchcraft and sorcery.

That guy was at today's game(I only saw the "Benedict Mabry" and "Web Jim" signs) and he was at the Cubs/Cards series in STL last year when I went. It's pretty sad that someone goes to such lengths to create literally a dozen commercial quality signs just to rail on a rival team. IIRC he also has a customized Cardinal jersey with Bartman and 08 as the name and number.
