Hill to start 7/27 / The Rich Hill Thread

Prior, Hill and Marmol for the three games I'll be at next week then (assuming Marmol is ok). Not exactly what I was hoping for...

 

Unless you are going to New York tomorrow (which is unlikely considering the game is at 12:10 Eastern Time), you won't be seeing Prior this weekend. According to Cubs.com Hill pitches Thursday, TBA (maybe Marmol) on Friday, Maddux on Saturday, and Z on Sunday.

Hill reminds me of Ankiel.

 

The 9+ ERA in like 40 IP doesn't really do anything for me. Who cares if he has a great curveball, you can't throw it every pitch. Even in RBI baseball you couldn't get by with one pitch!

My wedding is March 17, 2007. No, we are not Irish if you are thinking that. It was the only day in March the Hall and the Church had available. No biggie, it makes things easier now that its before baseball season. :lol:

We also have a townhome being built in Lake in the Hills that should be done by the end of this year.

 

This stuff is fun to talk about, especially with the way this season is going. Picked a good time to not be focused on the Cubs 100%.

I've been saying all along that I didn't understand the "untouchable" label that Hendry put on Hill in spring training. Back then everyone acted like he was the second coming of Sandy Koufax. I just wonder who the Cubs could have acquired for a package with Hill in it last off season.
