I've seen so many things that I had never seen in 20 years as a baseball fan thanks to the 2006 Cubs. 2 grand salamis in one inning - check!

Rusch is up...is he getting ready for Tuesday or is Hill going up?

Hill's pitching tonight for Iowa.

That's not the answer I wanted. Please try again.

...cupcak taste gud?

Anybody else having the strangest urge to watch Major League 2?

C'mon. This team is easily Major League 3 bad.

Oh come on, nothing is that bad! It's kind of like how Rocky fans refuse to acknowledge Rocky V. I refuse to acknowledge the 3rd Major League movie.

The Cubs are Battlefield Earth bad. They play like a bunch of man-animals.

the Cubs are playing well other than allowing 16 batters in the 6th and allowing a NYM franchise record 11 runs in that inning.

I will give you that. Other than allowing a record number of runs in an inning and causing the remainder of the game to be irrelevant, they have done a fine job in the remaining irrelevant innings.

He made a put out.

        x infinity.

Whatever, I don't see how you can defend him, he's not a good fielder.

Today's game not withstanding, the attacks on his defense are VASTLY overdone. VASTLY.

That's just ridiculous. He's one of the worst 2B at turning the double play. I'm tired of the argument about his fielding percentage because that doesn't tell the story. He doesn't get to most balls and, again, he usually doesn't position himself well enough to turn the DP which is crucial for his position. His reputation is well earned (and judging by the Cubs inability to move him in the offseason, other teams feel that his offense does not outweigh his defensive miscues).

NEVIN!

And sarcastic comments like yours add to that misperception.

[sarcasm]OMG I can't believe WALKER GOT AN OUT!

 X 50

[/sarcasm]

Walkers defense,Jones arm,Jones baserunning,Barrett not throwing anyone out,Cedenos arm,Neifis bat,Ramirez lack of hustle,Ruschs weight,Wood and Prior injuries etc. Its like beating a dead horse. But they are still here and they keep playing em. These are our 2006 Cubs.

Find me one argument for his fielding that was solely based on his FPCT.

Walker's offense isn't that good either
