SWING and a MISS strike three!

Joe Moran: "What happened there, he just MISSED that ball"

Joe Moran: "What he has to do is make contact. My former teammate with the big red machine--did you know I played there, Jon--Tony Perez would have hit that one pitch three times. That's the problem with today's game. Everyone has flaws. I was the greatest 2B ever. Have I ever mentioned the time that I played baseball once? I was the greatest ever. Jon? Jon?"

Jon Miller: Somebody, just shoot me...I can't take this price anymore. And it is not PERez, Joe, it's PAY raise, get it stragiht, moron.

Moran: Well Jon I find that vurry offensive. You know, if you were announcing in the 70's and said that Pete Rose--who also played with the Big Red Machine--would have probably killed you for that.

Great job giving D-Lee a day off for a nationally televised game. Doesn't matter to me what the past few games have been like for him, he's still the marquee player on this team....

Great job giving D-Lee a day off for a nationally televised game. Great managing from the top on down the line...

Doesn't want to put the national television pressure on DLee. He is young you know? Mabry the crafty veteran will be able to handle that kind of pressure better.

I think those 5 walks are the argument to play him unless Lee himself really feels he should be sitting out tonight.
