Just saw another amazing swing by Pujols. He took a pitch low and his ankles, in which he was well out in front and drove it to the centerfield bleachers. Has anyone heard who taught him how to hit? Has anyone ever seen him get cheated at the plate? I hope when it's all said and done, he's revered in St. Louis as much as Stan Musial.

Let witch hunt begin:

HE'S ON STERIODS!!!!

Not possible: his head hasn't grown ten sizes. Look at the growth of Barry, Sammy, McGwire and Tony Gwynn's melons over the years.

Pujols probably came from the same planet that Zambrano did.

This is true and I have proof! It is a strange planet called 'National'; here they are in their native garb watching the mother ship land:

I'm sorry... Tony Gwynn?!

Sure his melon might be big, but he's big all-"around."

That's true. I saw him walk out of the Westin a few years ago. Now there's a dude that didn't miss the pre and post gajme buffets.

Albert is an ok ball player.

I hate to say this, but if Albert keeps up this pace he's gonna be the best to ever play the game.

Albert is no Todd Walker.

Why are you insulting Todd by mentioning a scrub like Albert in the same sentence? You better learn some respect.

Phat Albert lifetime numbers vs the NL Central:

Pit: 0.362 / 0.442 / 0.714 / 1.156
Cin: 0.379 / 0.444 / 0.702 / 1.147
Mil: 0.337 / 0.444 / 0.613 / 1.057
Hou: 0.317 / 0.405 / 0.578 / 0.983
COBS: 0.284 / 0.376 / 0.571 / 0.947

Amazing to think that the Cubs are holding him in check, relatively speaking (not that a 947 OPS is exactly shutting him down).

Look at those Pit Cin and Mil numbers ... wow

Pujols probably came from the same planet that Zambrano did.

This is true and I have proof! It is a strange planet called 'National'; here they are in their native garb watching the mother ship land:

To show how big zambrano is next to a mere mortal, it should be noted that Yadier Molina is standing in front of the 2.
