I wouldn't. There are days I'd prefer the pumpkins, but the vast majority of the time I'd take the Beatles. Esp Revolver or Rubber Soul.

Well, it's gonna be tough, because a lot of people still haven't forgiven Metallica for Napster.... but they truly are the best band ever, regardless of St Anger (which is still better than a lot of the junk some of the newer bands put out.)

Ktulu is good too. I was actually just listening to the S&M set in the car today, which is my favorite Metallica compilation (except theres no Orion). I don't think of them as particularly artistic or anything, but they're a good band when you just wanna rock, and aren't whiny like AC/DC, imo.
