I don't understand this. I hate the lack of details. I'm skeptical this ever happened.

:?

Well, it was said that Zambrano was supposed to pitch around the third inning. So something obviously happended. But, for some reason I think that he'll be okay. No evidence...... just a hunch.

It's a long, thin bat used by coaches to hit ground balls or fly balls.

in case you weren't being sarcastic:

Its a skinny bat used to hit pop-flies to outfielders for defensive practice.

Oh, and anyone realize that this is yet another excuse for Hendry to not fire Dusty? "Well, we didn't have our all-star out there. It's not Dusty's fault"

Argh

Is this more or less random then Roberto Hernandez breaking Cal Ripkens nose during the All Star photo shoot, causing Cal to almost break his consecutive games streak?

Don't worry, Dusty just cleared Zambrano to throw 130 pitches in his next start.

wow atleast hes confident hes gonna start!....

This crap would only happen to the Cubs. How does this even happen? Why was Z anywhere near Cora as he was hitting ground balls?

Joey Cora is a thug. First Jacques ankle  and now clubbing people with bats.

What did he do to Jones' ankle??

It has been refuted. But, it was said in the fight between the Cubs and Sox that Cora was under the pile biting Jones' ankle. Dempster said it to mike North, but I believe even Jones said it was false. How that started I have no idea?

What is it with the cubs, seriously.

Farnsworth injures himself kicking something

Sosa throws out his back sneezing

Prior takes a line drive off the elbow

Z takes a fungo bat to the elbow.

Wood is the only one man enough to have a real injury.

You forgot to mention Furcal ramming into Lee and breaking his wrist.

We send one frigging player to the game, and he winds up as the only casualty on either side - without throwing a frigging pitch!

A few year back, but Mueller and the injury in St. Louis could be included.

There's also the Remmy vs. Recliner incident, Bill Mueller sliding into a rotating sign, Wood and Choi colliding, Nomar coming out of the box, CP running to first base....

How about Bellhorn sending Sammy's career into the toilet?
