Great job by Prior tonight.

I'd like to see him get one more with Iowa, but this was definitely encouraging.

Good night for Prior. Not a bad pitch count, would be 126 for 9 innings, and he threw a lot of strikes.

I would like to see him make one more start at AAA though before being brought up.

Prior batting:

Ball 1 outside.

Strike 1 swinging.

Ball 2 outside.

Strike 3 swinging, leaves the bases loaded. :(

In the middle of the 7th, New Orleans leads it 1-0. Jerome Williams is warming in the pen, let's see who will pitch the bottom of the 7th.

Sounds good to me. I like the k's that are swinging and misses. Velocity at 92 is improving and acceptable. Only thing left is how he recovers from this impressive outing. IF he does well recovering this ought to be his last rehab.

He only hit 92 once. He was consistently 90-91 mph.
