That should have been an error, but I'm happy the no-no is gone.

I'm not happy. These pathetic slugs need to be shamed into changing their approach. Nothing good can happen from breaking up a shut out in the 9th or escaping a no-hitter against a minor leaguer.

Why does it matter? Even if they got litterally embarrased by a no hitter dusty would just say "gotta tip your cap dude" and his attitude would rub off onto the players as "just something that happens sometimes". This approach and the "tipping of caps" will not end until dustworthless is gone!!

Why is that the first time seeing a pitcher mystifying effect always works on the Cubs but, never for the Cubs?

i'll take that as a rhetorical question

It's pretty simple really. The Cubs are dumb, and don't know how to approach their at bats. Other teams aren't as dumb.

I actually laughed out loud at this - it's so true!

Brenly said the players like Dusty because he defends them, but there comes a point where it's tough to defend them! haha

Then maybe the embarrasment will force management to make a change.

If we lose another 10 in a row. Maybe. But we'd have to litterally dig ourselves a grave before that happened.

The Cubs are losing 1-0 not 10-0. Settle down people we'll get to this guy.

That would mean someone making an adjustment and changing their approach - never going to happen.

Don't give me this settle down crap. The Cubs are being no hit (yes, no hit, that was an error) against a very bad pitcher. They are a pathetic bunch of morons with a terrible approach led by a clueless manager and neanderthal GM who is more interested in bodies than baseball players. They are the worst offense in baseball and have had the same problems, that have never been addressed, for several years. Don't tell me to settle down because they'll eventually get to him and are only down 1-0.

Yeah, finally a Budweiser commercial...what took so long ?

I was gonna say, amidst all of this crappy baseball, George Clooney poses an interesting question:

What is drinkability?

I'm in a meeting and come back to this? The game ain't supposed to start until I'm ready.

What did I miss?

Both pitchers pitching well. Marshall on the short end of a 1 hitter. Samson's 1 hitter was bogus, it was clearly an error. 1-0. Cubs offense looking horrendous as usual.

EDIT: I shouldn't say Samson is pitching well. We really haven't seen any pitches!

I didn't say it was definitely going to happen. But I'd rather these fools be no-hit, and exposed to the clueless people who don't yet understand the problems, than scratch out some undeserved hits to make it look like things aren't as bad as they truly are.
