Good friggin lord, I come home from work, get to see the end of the Cubs game, see that Ball State is one step from the regional championships in the NCAA baseball tourney, then come on to read the game thread and OMC has delivered me the greatest comedy gift ever. Soldiers did not"Give" me anything, a group of citizens working together did, long before the military was created.

 

Now I agree that they help defend that right.

 

if it wasnt for the continental army, those citizens would have been hanged for treason. so yes, the soldier gave you that right.

Hah, given the fact that I woke up a few minutes ago in my bathroom with vomit all over the floor (I guess I missed the toilet), that was suprisingly coherant for how I must have been last nite. I know I was on here alot last nite, I do remember that, but I haven't looked at what I wrote yet, i'm kinda afraid to. I must have tried really hard to write that or found all the keys.
