Kaplan is still PO'ed well into the John Williams show.

 

"Okay, see this? Here's a box. Put Neifi's stuff in it. I never want to see him in a Cubs uniform again."

 

John: "Okay, that's enough, we have to go to WGN traffic."

Dave: "No! There's a bunch of cars. There's traffic. Let's talk about the Cubs."

It might have had something to do with the nine walks.

 

oh, sorry...the answer we were looking for is clutchier hitting and bad breaks.

Thankfully, we are getting closer to that 15 games under .500 mark that the Astros were at prior to their tear. MacPhail must be freaking thrilled!

i love how they talk about the 2005 astros as if that type of miracle turnaround is the rule rather than the exception. idiots.

 

wasn't there a managerial change too that started the 'stros turnaround...I thought that was how garner got the job...
