I don't think anything will happen today, but I do think the appearance is interesting. MacPhail really had been out of the spotlight for a while and he clearly feels that he needs to be involved and active again. My guess for tonight is that he says something along the lines of "we are going to give the team a chance to right itself." Not exactly a vote of confidence but not pulling the plug either.
