Why the negativity about the Cubs lineup today? There's a whole lot of speed in the lineup today. It should give Pierzynski fits when Pierre and Hairston and such get on base and wreak havoc YEAH!

I like Blanco as catcher and Barret as DH.

 

Its not like there's anyone on the bench that is a much better hitter then Blanco and how often have we heard that our pitchers all have man crushed on him or something like that? Let him catch all weekend...if it makes the pitchers happy AND it gives Barett a rest, I'm all for it.

 

Plus, he is a heck of a defensive catcher. You want someone with his cannon arm to help against a team that I remember as run happy.
