If Maddux goes yard on Buehrle it would make my year.

Speaking of going yard, when was the last time the Cubs hit a homerun? It seems like it's been a while. Gotta love that small ball...

Bynum's home run on Wednesday is the only one we've had in the last 7 games.

They have to call up a bat today, preferably Restovich. He's 2/7 against Buerhle, nothing great, but you have to sit Jones and nobody else deserves the spot.

They can start Blanco and have Barrett DH, both have hit Buerhle. Walker starts at first and Hairston at 2nd, both have hit him. Put Restovich in RF.

Hey Fred, had a question yesterday that you're the perfect guy to answer, but of course you weren't here...

When was the last time a Cubs team came back from 5 or more runs behind to win the game?

You do know that Maddux won't be batting today, don't you?

I'd rather have him hit that Neifi :D

Chicks dig the longball. Maddux hits for himself (instead of using the DH) and bats 5th. 2 for 4 with a HR and 5 rbi

I'm sure you realize, of course, that this won't happen.

Yes, I do. They'll do whatever they can to get 15 second basemen involved in the game.

He'll play in the field in the bottom of the 8th, in a double switch.

Its sad the DH will be removing offense from our lineup...

Well, at least today, the DH is probably the difference between Barrett playing and not playing.

Or he won't play and Ramirez will DH with Neifi at third...

Unofficial Sox lineup:

LF Podsednik

2B Iguchi

DH Thome

1B Konerko

RF Dye

C Pierzynski

3B Crede

CF Mackowiak

SS Cintron

They really do have a very good balanced lineup. I think we already lost. Dusty better not start freaking Neifi! I was a Neifi backer up until this year. I think he's done! I honestly would rather see Womack come up.

Posted
Neifi better be sitting his butt on the bench today.

I'm hoping Neifi has gone into the witness protection program.

Although I would love to hear the reception he gets at his next AB (which I hope never happens, btw.)

Cubs are gonna here alot of Boos. First from the Sox fans and then from the Cubs fans. They better come out smoking to settle down the crowd.

I PREDICT! Cubs win this game 6-2! Murton and Jones goes yard!
