What's Kerry at? about 50 pitches through 2, 5 hits, three homeruns? Go Cobs!!!!!LOL Just comical.

 

What did you expect a no-hitter? It's his first game back. Relax.

 

Well, if he was ready to come back I would expect a little more than that, but I was just talking in generalities of how bad this team is. As usual the Messiah has a high pitchcount early in the game and is getting battered around this is Kerry's MO. He will probably settle down but he always seems to have one or two bad innings early in games.

 

Career ERA of 3.67, ERA+ of 116. Obviously he doesn't always have one or two bad innings a game. It's his first game back. Everybody warned that he would not be perfect, he's shown signs of dominance, but can't be expected to be 100% right now. If he shows no signs of improvement in the coming games then you can start complaining, but this isn't that big of a deal.

 

he wont be 100% because he'll be on the DL again in 3 weeks.

 

Seriously, I'll be shocked if he doesn't leave this game complaining of soreness somewhere.

 

What I am most concerned about is Kerry losing confidence with the "new" mechanics and reverting back to what he has done in the past and opening himself up to a greater chance of injuring his shoulder/elbow.
