I think i have been a Cub fan longer than most of you have been born.

I grew up watching Santo and Kessinger and listened to Brickhouse, not Harry.

And i call it like i see it. Maybe i am old and crusty, but i dont have much time left to see a winner at the pace these guys are going.

Blah blah blah, I'm old so my opinion means more.

Please.

Your first point means nothing.

Santo and Kessinger...yes, they were Cubs. How do Aramis' first several years in the bigs compare to Santo's? Is that what you're trying to do?

I hope we all see a winner soon. But any competitive chance the Cubs have is as a result of Lee and Ramirez being on this team and producing. So I don't quite know how this ties in to your argument that Ramirez is a "bum".

Since he was a full time starter in 2001? Basically 4/5 years.

.886 OPS in 2001 34/112

bad year in 2002

.790 OPS in 2003 with 27/106

.951 OPS in 2004 with 36/103

.926 OPS in 2005 with 31/92

Do you get tired of saying stupid things and being wrong?

Okay... What does that have to do with anything?

yes, more frustration.

Why should your opinion mean more than Rocket's, or mine, or anyone's? Age does not equate wisdom. Age does not give you a magical insight to what is good and what is not.

I know plenty of 50 year old's that I'm much smarter than. I know 17 year olds that are smarter than everyone here.

There was a topic in rants about this a long time ago. People were saying "I've been a fan for 3 years, and I know a lot more than people who have been fans for 30 years"... anyhow, you all have a premium feature. Can you find that thread for ole' times? It's in rants.
