So let me see, he hits, he's relatively healthy...but he's still a bum. Go figure.

you call .217 hitting?

.800 OPS hitting?

.327 lifetime OBP?

has only played in 145 games thrice in 2001,2003, and 2004.

not worth it.

Aramis is a great hitter. Everyone slumps.

Never mind that his career numbers are signifigantly affected by the awful 2002 he had.

But yeah, let's ignore the stellar 2001, 2004 and 2005 seasons he had. And let's ignore the decent 2003.

Sunny, I have to hand it to you. You never let facts get in the way of your arguments.

huh? is he injured right now? i don't see your point.

my point is that not only is he a bum with a lifetime OPS of .800 but he is brittle to boot.

No way we should be giving him $11M a year.

Give me a break. He's in a slump right now. Let's see how much of a "bum" he is in August when he's around .300 with 20 HR.

Just 20 :?

Why don't you do us all a favor and

1) get your head out of your behind

2) Calculate those above numbers since he's been a full time starter

3) Stop being an ignorant troll.

If we reduce the arbitrary number to 140, he's played in 140 games 4 years out of 5.

Can someone give me an updated definition of troll? I apparently have a dated understanding of the term.

BOTTOM OF THE SIXTH INNING

Cedeno walked

Zambrano bunted into a FC, 2-4, Cedeno out at second

Pierre popped out (foul) to the catcher

What happens if you raise the arbitrary "brittle-o-meter" to 160?

I think i have been a Cub fan longer than most of you have been born.

I grew up watching Santo and Kessinger and listened to Brickhouse, not Harry.

And i call it like i see it. Maybe i am old and crusty, but i dont have much time left to see a winner at the pace these guys are going.

That is probably the worst CGI job I've ever seen... the Charles Schwab commercial. Oh god... Why cant they just use real people? It's so distracting.

That makes it even worse. You're old and you say stupid things. It would be excusable if it was a high schooler.
