Eddie likes the bleacher expansion....because he still uses typewriters....

I guess I'm not a true traditionalist

As someone now planning to sell my bleacher tickets for upcoming St Louis and White Sox series, I am against the bleacher expansion as well.

How much are you asking for em? Just out of curiousity. :)

I dunno. We'll see if my apathy holds up enough for me to actually be willing to miss going to the games.

If I did give them up, I wouldn't ask for more than actual costs if giving them to NSBB members.

I'm starting to lose interest and it isn't even the end of May yet.

If Baker gets fired, but we never get back into it this year, would you still be interested?

We need more stoned people in the booth during blowouts.

Or at least Murray or Sucliffe.

They should let Len and Bob start drinking after the Cubs fall behind by 5 runs.

Why should they wait that long, it's just a matter of time before it happens anyway. Let 'em have fun from the get go.

Len & Bob are starting to realize Harry Caray was a wise man. A wise man, indeed 8)

having eddie in the booth was the highlight of the cubs season so far.

agreed.

I wish PJ was touring on their own. I can't afford the Joint bill with Tom Petty.

the whole tour isn't w/ tom petty. i can't remember who is opening in chicago, but it's not him. and since i've been a fan club member since the late 90's, i'm fittin' to have some great seats. :D

I should have clarified. I live up in Minneapolis now, and that's a joint bill.

I really wanted to go see em at Alpine again. They've played some great and memorable shows there - Ice Bowl, the show in 2003...

i was thinking about going to xcel, but it is pretty expensive. i'm kinda disappointed they're not doing a wider tour. last time they even came to council bluffs, iowa. des moines just got a new fancy arena, so i was hoping for a local show. i saw them four (?) times on their last tour.

If baker gets fired, neifi would be the only one terribly upset

It would be interesting to see how the team responds, and what the fall out will be.

It'll sure be more intersting than it has been.

You know with an offday tomorrow, it would be a perfect time ot take care of some administrative things and allow enough time to let the dust settle before Tuesday.....

It would have been nice to see someone go out and calm down Ryu after hitting Cameron, but hey, its not like its his major league debut or anything.

In this 16 game stretch where the Cubs have gone 2-14, the Cubs have been outscored 100 - 32

100 opponent runs

32 Cubs runs

Average score of:

6.25 - 2

The really sad part is that with a run differential like that the Cubs should consider themselves lucky have two wins. 1-15 would be more in-line with being 70 runs in the hole over 16 games.

Those precious moments figures given out at Wrigley are bringing some cash on ebay. I bought one from a few years ago and would like to get the new one for my wife.

There are tix on stub hub going for $9 in the uppers, bleachers are down to $48-55 range for upcomming games.

That would be too much for me

I agree. I'm pretty much not even caring about the losses. I really haven't since late last week...I'm willing to endure whatever it takes to get changes made. I hate talking to my Cardinal fan friends, and they are actually sympathetic, as they watch this team being mismanaged into the ground. I think they'd rather have it be competitive as well.

Well if you come up, I'll buy you a beer before the show. That will be after I go to all 3 Twins-Cubs losses.
