Yeah, it wasn't even that great of a defensive play. A good job getting back there and in position, but he didn't jump that high and he didn't take it away.

Perhaps but Juan almost lost it out of the glove and had that happened, it likely would have been over the wall for a Canseco-esque bounce of HR fortune.

after watching the replay, it looks like it might have had just enough to get over, but not by much.

Yeah, that's what I was just thinking.

 

It would have been absolutely fitting for him to hit the ball most of the way, and then get a little help... just like the rest of his career.
