Fred, do you for some reason keep track of Neifi's pop-up outs?

No, I can't capture that kind of breakdown, because I'm using the daily box score as my only data source.

On the upside, you really can't blame Dusty for this team being so horrible. He's actually put out a good number of reasonable lineups this season and hasn't used guys like Bynum and Mabry to insane degrees like he has with guys such as Lenny Harris and Jose Macias in the past.

Heck, even Neifi hasn't had much PT.

I've given him credit. And I have to admit, the Neifi/Macias 1/2 punch of last year seemed to generate more runs than this team is generating right now.

Contrary to popular belief, the lead off men of the Cubs last year scored more runs than the most overrated player of the game, Scott Podsednik.

Sox coming back, 5-4.

God I hate them.

ALONG WITH BILLY WAGNER WHO BLEW A SAVE

You know Wagner is hurt and should have surgery but is trying to pitch through it, right?

In other news, Pierre goes deep...to the edge of the outfield.

I think I finally figured out Dusty's lineup for tonight.

He realized his bench has been waaaay too weak so far this season, so he stuck Murton and Cedeno there to help his bench look better.

I mean, really, it makes perfect sense.... if you're as crazy as Dusty is.

How he takes the 2 of the best bats out of the lineup and expects them to score ANY runs amazes me.

Especially since they've only scored 5 in their last 5 games.
