I disagree, CubinNY. Like others have said, we're in the middle of a long stretch without a day off; Marshall has flat out dominated tonight; and there were two outs in the inning. If Marshall were due up first, then I'd agree with you, but not with two outs and a cruising pitcher.

 

I'll let this be my last word on the matter:

 

Two innings isn't going to hurt. It's not like it was the 5th. A rookie pitcher is on the mound and it's late. One swing of the bat and he gets the win. Now he gets nothing but an atta' boy.

 

You have to pinch hit close and late.

 

But we can look at the results. They still had to use a pitcher.
