How's the radar looking in the Chicago area?

Hopefully its about to rain hard and for a VERY long time.

I wish I was old enough to be with that Bachelor Party. Those guys seem like they're having fun.

i started my bachelor party out int the bleachers. And the Cubs got killed, much like they are today.

Also, we had a hell of a time.

Dusty owes this team an apology. Rusch should have NEVER started this game and should have been sent down after the first two. Why he continually insists on Glendon over Hill is mindboggling, to put it lightly.

That's Hendry's decision not Dusty's. Baker can't make roster moves. I'm sure they were willing to give Rusch the benefit of the doubt considering he's under contract.

If history's worth anything, it seems Hendry will do what Dustyu wants, especially when it comes to a move such as this. Could be wrong though.

the radar, most of it is very light, probably will have no effect on this game. the heavy stuff is still 2 hours or more away

This Rusch situation is worse than the Estes situation was back in 2003.

At least we can replace Rusch rather than move to a 4-man rotation and wear down our pitchers.

Get a bunch of booze in me and I would be having fun in a Cubs blowout also.

Estes was bad, but he at least had a couple good games for the Cubs.

Well, that wasn't smart. Being down 7-0 in this kind of weather you want to take as many pitches as possible in hopes of heavier rain moving in. But that's not going to happen with a 3 min. half inning.

Research shows that a 4-man rotation would have no adverse affects on pitchers' health. It's high pitch counts that contribute to injuries. I wouldn't be surprised to see Boston try a 4-man rotation at some point this season.
