Huge DP there. Guzman was wild, but only gave up 3 ER. Not bad for the first start. Gotta get that control back though.

Walker's pretty good over there at 1st.

 

Wouldn't a Walker GG be funnier than heck? (Not at the expense of Lee out, though.)

An iffy outing considering the walks, but for his first MLB appearance that not too bad, especially with the wind blowing out.

 

Need some runs this inning for the kid to be in line for the W.

Yeah, because as I recall, Walker is absolutely brutal on defense. :eyeroll:

So where did Guzman's control go?

Guzman hasn't regained all of his control yet. Better than where he was in the AFL, but he's still had a lot of long 3-ball counts this year.

 

The strike zone he got in the 2nd never really came back.

The GG is going to Pujols, whether it is deserved or not.

I don't really want Guzman back on the mound.

 

Even if Blanco is retired, though, it's too early to use a bat off the bench.
