When Wood came up, he was 20. I wasn't excited to see what I felt at the time was rushing him to the bigs prematurely.

yeah, he's got great stuff. but that doesn't mean he's proven his a big league starter. to say that is just giving him way too much credit. he's barely thrown 100 innings above high A. nobody at that level has earned the right to be considered a proven big league starter.

 

the kids on super sweet 16 have earned more than guzman at this point. and that's not to say i don't like guzman...i do.
