As long as Z can't control his behavior on the field, he will have trouble pitching with any consistency whatsoever. It's a shame temper tantrums and other ridiculous, pointless bull honkey have put a damper of inconsistency on an otherwise elite caliber player.

I don't see anything wrong with it. There aren't many much healthier ways to take out 97 years of pent up rage.

Good lineup Raw. It's probably the best lineup we could reasonably hope for with baker at the helm. If only he'd think about batting Jones 8th. Does anybody else have a concern that Aram may try and do to much and struggle without Derrek Lee? Yes. He hasn't been doing well anyway, and he's sure to feel the added pressure from the fans and even the organization. If he doesn't find a way to get it all clicking fast, he'll have a tough time.

Look at it from an unbiased point of view. We beat the Cardinals this weekend generally due to timely home runs and sufficient pitching. While the Cards, still waiting to play in a new stadium and starting the season with 6 games on the road. Yes, they have a weak bullpen, but 3 losses in April matter little in the dog days when things count; them headed to the playoffs while our only solace is a winning season series against them. An early- season sweep is nice, but it's no proof that the Cubs are exponentially better than predicted.
