I really have the feeling that Z throws a no hitter.

With less than 12 hours until the game I propose that we cease and desist all talk of a Z no-no. It's like in the Big Lebowski, i.e, 'you don't f with the jesus.' And you don't f with the baseball gods. I just want to see some good pitches from Z, one pitch at a time.

Hopefully this becomes a good series for J-Strap to swing the bat, start making consistent contact and deliver some good OBP.

Go CUBS !!

Fred, you probably have a pretty good feel for how you and your stats are appreciated on this board. But I just have to remind you again. Love the stats. Keep up the amazing work!

Weird start time for this one. I suppose its because its on ESPN, but I thought that their Monday night games they just pick randomly and had no say in the start times.

Anyways, its good as I can watch the Cubs build up an early 5-0 lead and then settle in watching game 2 of Bulls/Heat.

Here's some worthless stats of the day for Monday.....

CUBS are 2-4 when they've won their previous game

Wouldn't they actually be 3-6 after winning their previous game. I may be misinterpreting this stat but I think I'm right.

Yes, .... and no. They're 2-4 after a single win. I gotta find a better way to word that. Anyhow.... it breaks down like this.....

CUBS are 2-4 when they've won their last game

CUBS are 1-1 when they've won their last 2 games

CUBS are 0-1 when they've won their last 3 games

.... so yes, it does sum to 3-6.

HD is nice, I just wish ESPN would broadcast their baseball games in 1080i. Every game on ESPNHD has been in 720p... nice, but not awesome.

Night games should NOT be allowed on Monday nights until late may...I mean...24! Come on!

The Cubs trump all, even Jack Bauer. I have never seen an episode of 24 so I guess it is not a big deal to me.

I really have the feeling that Z throws a no hitter.

Hope not. Bulls in the playoffs trumps early season Cubs games so if he did I'd miss most of it.

The difference between 720P and 1080I is really minimal at best. I just got a 50' Sony SXRD and the picture to me is stunning!

I have the exact same TV. It is hooked up via HDMI and I freakin love every part of it. However, if possible watch a baseball game on ESPNHD then watch INHD ... they broadcast random games (sometime 3 per week) and push the signal out at 1080i, let me tell you it is night and day. Granted an SXRD and ESPNHD is AMAZING, once you see the SXRD and 1080i ... you will know what I am talking about!

Thanks, it is and I have enjoyed it. However the past few months it has turned into a weekend track car.

I miss going to the race track. When I get a new car, I'll get back into the game.

I have it through HDMI also and I can't take my eyes off it. I love INHD and also love the Discovery-HD. Also the HD movies on Showtime and HBO are just amazing looking!
