Hello,

I just registered with northsidebaseball. Just wanted to say hello and I look forward to discussing the cubbies with ya. There are thousands of cubs fans down here in New Orleans and hopefully I found a good board to come to when the games are not televised on WGN. Thanks again.

No I just couldn't take chicagocubs.com message board any longer,friend of mine recomended this site and I have been lurking for about a week and then joined.

I'm sure its been mentioned thousands of times, but Cubs.com message board could be one of the stupidest places on earth. I'm not bashing the intelligent Cub fans on that site, but so many trolls, so many idiots. Welcome to the board anyways.

Can't bag on Cubs.com too much. This place pretty much started when several of the more respected posters broke off and formed this joint.

 

Can't stop thanking Tim enough for building this cozy atmosphere. You can put your feet up on the desk and just take it all in. Oh, by the way, ROOKIE (nola cub), bring me a beer. :D

Welcome Nola, as you can tell from my average of over 20 posts a day, I really enjoy this site, as does everyone else on here, and I'm sure you will too!

 

Amazing how you joined after the 2005 regular season, and have gotten 4376 posts until now... Especially in the off-season! I've been here a season and a half and I only have around 5,500.
