One more question: What caused the name change from Chavez-Ravine to Dodger Stadium?

 

My understanding is that Chavez Ravine in the area of town where the ball park is located. It was never really the official name of the ball park.

 

 

Chavez Ravine is the name of the ravine (hollow, valley) where they built the stadium
