Boy Marshall has a mean hook. He's still really raw...but he shows flashes of being a pretty good pitcher.

He doesn't get it across the plate nearly enough. He's already been touched for 3 bombs in 11 innings. I am still not sure how this team in 8-5. A healthy Wood and Prior are needed ASAP.

11 major league innings...that's all...and you're really judging him on that?

How else should I judge him, his thoroughly impressive 10 innings of spring training? Or his multiude of minor league starts. I like Marshall and I think he can be good but I think he needs more seasoning. But yes, I am judging him on his ML body of work and its unimpressive.

When is it acceptable to question the quality of the Sean Marshall era. So far, I am thoroughly unimpressed.

You know it's bad when Rusch is pitching better than you.

He's had relievers give up 1/2 of his 8 ERs after he left games so far. Oh yeah, and the kid missed the last month plus of last year with just 11 starts above A ball.

He left the baserunners on. Turning the ball over with the bases juiced and no outs isn't a recipe for success.

His inexperience above A ball is supposed to be a selling point for Marshall? ...or an excuse for his performance.

Your bashing of anything non-veteran is supposed to be proving a point? ...or an excuse for you trolling for arguments.

I can agree he needs seasoning, but he's the best option they have, and he's clearly only a stopgap till we get our staff healthy. He hasn't lost us a game yet. As long as he goes out there and keeps us in the game, I don't know that there's a lot of room to complain about his performance.
