I've been quietly working towards that job for years.

i bet it pays in warm beer and stale nachos

Even better. Where do I send my resume?

We could be on the verge of the greatest comeback in a long time. We have the team and the right opponent to do it.

Just get to the Pen.

Too bad we don't have Dwight Smith on the bench. He has experience helping a team come back from being down 9-0.

This is why Cubs fans are the best. Impossible optimism. :)

Almost a 3rd of a game left. It could happen. Time for this team to show some character!!!

Jones has a strained right hamstring.

Your 6 million a year hole in RF is now out. Not sure if I'm happy or sad. :?

If it is Pie I am happy. If it is Mabry I am not.

Chicago Cubs right fielder Jacque Jones left the game due to an injured leg.

What was that about?

i can deal with mabry for a spell. he certainly was nails in st. l filling in all over, but pie could add some interest!

i doubt they do it, because if he showed he was ready, hendry would look even more silly for the 3 year deal.

Good thing I was at work whenever this happened.

Yeah, it's like the Tsunami. I took and walk in the mountains, came back and everything was out of wack!!!!
