Can anyone else think of any other pitcher who gave up two homers to the same opposing pitcher in consecutive outings? Rusch must enjoy the notoriety.

Time to cut sling with Rusch. I don't care if they bring up Hill, Guzman, whoever. If he's in the rotation when one of Prior, Wood, or Miller come back, he better be the first one out of the rotation, not Marshall.

I once saw Walt Terrell hit two HRs in the same game against some nameless Cub pitcher

I wouldn't call Ferguson Jenkins a nameless Cubs pitcher.

Maybe it happened twice. I wouldn't put it past the Cubs.

Believe it or not I looked it up. Terrell did once off of Jenkins in 83.

The warm fuzzy I had from this weekend is wearing off pretty quickly.

You didn't expect a dominating performance out of Rusch did you? Wait till we get to both our bullpen and their bullpen. The tides may turn.

We may not see thier bulpen if Bronson continues pitching the way he has he'll probably get the complete game.

Reds bullpen == extremely suspect

I'm talking more about our offense getting worked by Arroyo than Rusch.

Yeah, but Arroyo did the same thing last week. And didn't we start scoring late in that one too? Just might be a pitcher our guys don't see well. Don't lose that good feeling. :D
