That was quite a series against the deadbirds. Lets keep the mojo going against the Reds!

Rusch wasn't very good last outing (big surprise), being on the losing end of the only Cub loss this year (that sounds fun). Meanwhile, Bronson busted out the lumber, and pitched mediocrely to win.

Lets turn the tables and keep the streak alive.

GO CUBS!

like you said, lets turn around the tables and have Rusch pitch well enough to get the win. Remember the last time Arroyo pitched at Wrigley? Our offense gave him quite the beat down :D

Go Cubs!

The other matchups for the series:

Wednesday - Claussen vs. Maddux

Thursday - Milton vs. Zambrano

Expect Hairston to start at least one of those.

The temperatures should be in the mid or upper 60s the entire series, but there's a chance of rain on Wednesday. Always subject to change, of course.

With the Cubs off today I guess I'll have to watch the Cards and Brewers on MLB EI. We'll see how good the Brewers actually are over the next week and a half with games at the Cards, Mets, and Astros.

Big week for the Crew, that being said, I expect them to win today with the Cardinals arriving late last night after receiving a weekend whipping from our Cubs!

Bruce, you have line-ups yet?

Considering that the game isn't until tomorrow, I doubt it.

Yep. I still hope that yesterday's line-up will be used tomorrow though. I thought that yesterday's line up was the best I seen so far.

Losing the next two out of three will do the Cubs no good. They have to keep the winning going if they want to be a conteda'.

I am looking at you [expletive]. Throw strikes and go after people and good things will follow.

Go Cubs!

Sarcasm escapes some people.

Went over my head too. How was your post sarcastic?

Perhaps poking fun at everyone who asks miles questions about the lineup and everything else all the time?

That's my best guess.

Dear Cubs:

Please bring your A game tomorrow. Even "bottom feeders" will beat you if you insist on dialing it in.

Your friend,

Bill Hall the Cardinal killer? He just hit a 2-run homer off Mulder for his first hit of the season. 2-0 Brewers in the 2nd.
