WTF, mlb.tv blacks out Cincinnati Reds AWAY games too for me?! That's so ridiculous, especially when the reds.com site tells me that it's not televising the game.

 

I hate mlb.

The black outs do suck..Especially if you pay 150 bucks for MLB Extra innings. I get blacked out when the Cubs play either Cards or Astros.

The more the Tribune stock falls, the more likely they are to sell the Cubs, right? :P

The fortunes of the parent company have very little direct influence on the operation of the ballclub. Tirbune doesn't spend anything on the CUBS. All of the CUBS' expenditures come out of CUBS' revenues. Now, the recent stadium renovation may have been an exception, but I'm not sure on that.

They must be randoming doing things now. I have MLB EI but I used MLB.TV sporadically last year and I was always blacked out. I have it again this year (at least this month) to compliment my EI and I can view this game. MLB.TV is showing the Comcast telecast (and I live here in Chicago).
