I like soccer10K's version better. :D

Some discrepencies may be due to people who edited their selections after initially posting them. If anyone went through and tallied who selected which hitters before the thread was locked, people may have changed their choices before the deadline.

I just did my spreadsheet last night so I used the players people picked after the thread was locked.

I've gone through most of your names, soccer10k. Some were in fact correct on my spreadsheet, some aren't (Serena's for instance was due to a typo that gave her someone that has 0 homers instead of someone with 6). I'll get the rest checked out here in a second.

Ok, I got through all of them, most of the mistakes were typos (two users for instance had Pujols listed as both of their B choices). I'll update them now.

Were any of mine wrong and if so, which ones?

I holds my hands up and apologise. In my defence, I'm not very good.

Don't worry, I'm an engineering major. We have to know how to use excel to get by in school. At least at my school we do.

HawkCub, Treeman, bukie, and one or two others (I can't remember exactly) were correct on the spreadsheet, but the most egregious differences you had right. One way or the other we'll get this shored up by the end of the month. :D

If you want to update your previous post, on pg 5, when all the games are done, I'll go through mine, update it for today, and check what we have different.

I should climb some more once Teixeira and Helton get in gear.

I've said the same thing about Tex. Then complained about Alou batting anybody BUT Feliz in front of Bonds.....

Tex, Bay and Huff are killing me.

But Pujols, Ortiz and Berkman are overachieving.

Actually I'm at 55 right now after a HR by A-Rod today, and big days from Pujols and Swisher yesterday.

What makes this a lot of fun is that even I have some guys who have done crap so far, like Huff and Todd Helton. But the guys I thought were the "safest" picks to hit over 40 due to their health and youth, Pujols and Dunn, have gone bonkers so far. Giambi, Gomes and Swisher are looking like smart picks so far, and Thome will get a lot of HRs if his back holds up.

Why, why why did I pick Adrian Beltre? Did his legs fall off this winter and nobody told me? Is he out there with a red tipped cane and a wheelchair? Could he suck more?

He fell off his legs last winter.

I wish some of the guys I have that a billion other people don't have (A-Rod, Dunn, Pujols, Thome) would start hitting. That's really the difference right now - the guys that weren't as commonly picked.

And how about some of the people that weren't even selected? Ty Wigginton has 6 homers.

I'm just glad I picked Pujols instead of A-Ram. It was a tough decision, but I'd have dropped well off the pace if I hadn't.

I'm not sure why this would have been a tough decision, even though a surprising # of people picked A-Ram. His career high in HRs is 36 and he's injury prone. Pujols has 40+ HRs 3 years in a row, and has been very durable his whole time in the majors. For that matter, so has Dunn. The only guys in group B that I seriously considered were Pujols, Dunn, and Teixeira.

I was thinking that A-Ram might come in and have a stellar year. It was history - as you say - that made me vote against it. I went for Teixeira, too. But that was just because I like his name.

I thought he was gonna have a huge year this year, so I picked him too.

He's gotten 3 hits in his last two games, so let's hope his swing is coming around.

He was hitting well in the WBC so that's why I picked him.
