100% chance of rain today (it's raining now), with a predicted high of 52. 60% chance of morning rain tomorrow, with a predicted high of 56. This rain breaks a streak of over 140 days without rain in Phoenix.

Prediction: No Cactus League action today.

Lots of rain here. They'l decide by 10 local time whether to call this one. The Cubs' lineup:

Pierre, CF

Walker 2B

Jones, RF

Restovich, 1B

Murton, LF

Grissom, DH

Perez, SS

McGehee, 3B

Kopitzke, C

Guzman, P

If we get rained out, Maddux will start Sunday, with Guzman following him into the game.

Sorry NCCubbieFan, just had to rain while you were out there.
Yesterday was the only game I was going to. Today I fly back home, so the rain isn't costing me a game.

Bruce,

Will they move the auction to tomorrow too?

Not sure of that one, with the Cubs on the road.

Oh ok. BTW, how are you enjoying Arizona?

What kind of question is that?

Arizona is good, even with the rain. BTW, Ramirez is back in there tomorrow at third base.

Just call NCCF Rainman.

definitely.

I was at a rainy game in Washington with him last year. In fact, everytime I've ever seen him, it's been raining.

Just like that guy from "So long and thanks for all the fish".

So I flew in last night for this game, and now instead of watching Guzman, I'm sitting in my hotel room instead.

No snow for you guys? We got some last night here outside LA (it didn't stick :()!

Hopefully it will be dry next weekend when I'm in the Valley of the Sun - I know the storms stitchface talks about will definitely keep it wet in LA.

There's a snow advisory in this county if you're above 2000 feet, but we're just under that.

On an interesting sidenote... I believe it had been 143 days since it last rained here... and the second I get here, it gets rained out.

God hates me.

we're expecting snow tomorrow raisin - of course, it was supposed to snow yesterday too. we have the problem of no moisture but its plenty humid today. we are going to be in SD for the WBC next weekend though so that is what I was referring to. Right now, they are predicting the system to stay north of Phoenix with a chance of showers for SD on the 18th. We'll see.
