Oh man I remember that Gracie HR! I was actually at the game the day before when Sosa hit his 60th. Missed history by 1 day :(

But that was a crazy series if anyone remembers it. Its the only 3 game or more series that both teams have scored more then 10 runs every game in the series

I miss Farns....

Okay, not really... But I do like his velocity, and he goes Bears on the Cubs.

I miss the farns.

Really.

I still firmly believe he's going to be a very solid setup man/closer for years to come.

Hey... I thought I'd share my YouTube page with y'all. I have uploaded 3 classic Cub vids (Glenallen Hill mix, Farns tackle, and Grace walkoff).

I'll try to add more later,

Dan

Thanks for the clips. I didn't know Farns took down Affeldt last year. What happended there?

Runelvys Hernandez hit Carlos Guillen in the head (I think it was Guillen) so Affeldt felt it necessary to poke at Farns. Farns then dropped him.

"he got racky tacked" may be the greatest thing I have ever heard a broadcaster say.

Agreed. Too awesome. Love Stoney. I forgot how excited Chip used to get, too. I have to admit, I wasn't a huge fan when he was here, but now I kind of miss him, too.

With the Yankees? Good luck with that.

I had forgotten how great those AIM logs were. Zambrano signs his 6.5M contract

I don't care what anyone says, I miss Chip and Stoney.

Me too...those two played off each other better than any broadcast team in the business, bar none.

I loved Stoney. Even got his autograph in St. Louis one year.

Paul Wilson must still regret the 2 steps he took towards Farnsy that day. He starts walking out, Farnsy drops the glove and lowers his shoulder and Wilson's gotta be thinking "oh s... what did I get myself into"

The most exhilirating non-playoff series for me, ever. Sammy hit HRs 59-62 during that series, and Beck got the win in the last two games. Anyone else remember the walkoff HR by Orlando Merced?

Nice videos Bixby.
