Can anyone remind me what the explanation of the incomplete pass w/ Polumalu was?

First the coin toss on Thanksgiving for Cowher, and now this.

That's some seriously bad luck due to incompetence.

He still had his knee down when he lost the ball.

I know that is what they called, but that can't possibly be the rule. He caught the ball, had possession when he hit the groung, and lost possession when he was getting up.

I agree with you of course...just thought you wanted to know the explanation.

Crazy. By the ref's logic, he could've rolled around on the ground for 30 seconds, but if he lost the ball before both knees were off the ground, then it's incomplete.

CHRIS MORTENSEN: I don't know if that's necessarily a bad call, but it's a bad rule ... He didn't maintain control until he ha dboth feet on the ground...Weird rule, and maybe a bad interpretation of the rule ...

Not trying to make light of a potential horrible situation. But if the Steelers lose this game. These refs will see several attempts on their lives. The fans here are serious.

I thought one butt equaled two feet?
