Michigan defeats MSU 72-67.

Yeah, let the teams IU beat keep winning (except Illinois, not knocking U of I but I want them to lose because we have a sure loss coming in Assembly Hall Jr.)

It wouldn't surprise me if Minnesota beats Indiana in Minneapolis. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but it wouldn't surprise me. I haven't looked at Michigan State's schedule, but they've already done something that I don't think Illinois will do - beat OSU in Columbus. In fact, if Pruitt and Randall continue to underachieve, I can see the Illini with at least four more Big Ten losses.

I think Wisconsin at Michigan is going to be a big game on Sat. With the Badgers thinned out roster and how hard it is to win on the road in the Big Ten, if they could somehow squeak out a win at Crisler could go a long way in determining if they stay in the race for the Big 10 Title.

Losing in Ann Arbor won't be as painful since they don't have to go to Champaign nor Bloomington. Depending on what Wisconsin does, losing four Big Ten games may win the confence.

It is a strong possibility. But IU has to win that game if they want to consider themselves among the top teams in the country.

IMHO, IU can't be considered one of the top teams in the country..they simply aren't going to be able to consistently matchup with elite teams unless White comes back earlier than expected from the foot injury. I don't think they'll have enough to win the Big Ten Championship and I'd be suprised if they made the Sweet 16.

I just think it is going to be tough for Wisconsin the rest of the way and I don't think I would consider them the frontrunners, even with the schedule. When you go from a 10 man rotation down to a 7 man rotation I just think it is going to hurt them against Iowa, Mich St., Indiana, Ohio St, and Michigan. I think there home court advantage disappears somewhat due to the lack of depth too, and they have some tough home games against 4 of those teams.

I'm looking forward to the game Tuesday night. You're right, going to a 7-man rotation isn't good for any team. I still say if Illinois can score 65+ points a game for the rest of the season we'll go deep in the tourney. The problem is we are a horrible free throw shooting team. The Kohl Center should be hopping Tuesday night.

Michigan about wraps up a NCAA tournament berth with this win over Wisconsin. They didnt have any big wins until the last 2 at home vs MSU and then Wisonsin. I was very surprised how they handled the badgers today. Abraham, if that dude could only staty healthy.

Oops. That's the last time I rely on a vague headline.

Either way, they have been about as up and down in the Big Ten as you can get.

It's Abram, Lester Abram.

It appears Kevin Grady's younger brother will commit to Mich. tomorrow, joining top 10 '07 wing Alex Legion.

I hate living in SEC country. Arkansas - UK on CBS today not IU- Minny. Big game for the Hoosiers. They don't have a Big Ten road win, and playing at Minny is tricky no matter how much they are struggling. With a win IU is tied for 1st in Conference, with a loss they are 7th. Go IU!
