you're 15 question marks worth of excited about a reggie sanders signing?

I guess he really likes Reggie Sanders.

Here's the latest from Rotoworld:

The Los Angeles Daily News believes the Dodgers could sign both Reggie Sanders and Kenny Lofton in addition to Nomar Garciaparra.

That would make Jose Cruz Jr. one expensive fourth outfielder. Since J.D. Drew can handle center, Cruz to Lofton is probably a downgrade anyway. Sanders would make a lot of sense in left field, assuming that he comes at a reasonable price.

No. Just wanted to make sure everyone knew I wasn't making a statement, just asking a question. :D

Didn't want to get bashed for making a false statement. LOL

I think the real question that should be asked is why Reggie Sanders would want to sign with the Dodgers?

If you see a team already has Drew, Lofton, Cruz, Werth, Nomar (who could play outfield more than he plays 1b), Repko and Ledee, why would you want to play where your playing time might be minimized?

Because you've been led to believe 1 or more of the OF are on their way out of town.

Or they just offered more money than everybody else.

Anyone think taking a chance on trading for Cruz would be alright?

There's probably still better options left, but if they all go away and we are left between Cruz and Jones he might be the better option.

On second thught if we are helping LA take a OF off their hands JD Drew might look nice in RF...

Perhaps Pie will be ready by the time Drew has his inevitable injury. Drew+Pie=$11,300,000. That's a whole lot cheaper than Manny.

Looking at Drew's career he has alternated betwee seasons of 140sh games to 100ish games. Hes due up for another 140ish season. I'll take it!

But not as good. Last I saw, Pie is hitting a blazing .208 in winter ball.

So? Macias was hitting like .375

It means nothing.

Just say no to JD. He will only break your heart. One moment he will wow you with displays of pure baseball brilliance, but then he will spend the next two weeks on the DL with a strained left earlobe.

Sanders, however, would be a solid pickup for any team's corner outfield, at the right price. He was having a 30-30 season before he crashed into Edmonds during the first game after the all-star break and broke his leg. He got hot again just in time to personally defeat the Padres in the NLDS, only to again get freak injured in the outfield incident of Fark.com photoshop fame.

Which of the Dominican and Venezuelan leagues showcases the better pitching talent?
