  1. Right now the Vikings would be the 6 seed but if they can get to 8-8 with their remaining schedule I'll consider it a success. The only way I can see them getting to 9-7 is if Cutler were out this Sunday or the Packers don't have much to play for in week 17.
  2. Yes, yes he did. :-k And both are absurd statements.
  3. Tom Crean said that Hulls is an NBA guard and Georgia will win 22-25 games this year.
  4. I hate this so much. Is the extra $3-6M per year for each school really worth completely selling your soul and diluting the conference? Football needs to be separated from the rest of college sports. Leave every other sport to play in conferences that make sense geographically, competitively and historically and let football just swing it's dick around and create whatever scheduling arrangements you want for a few extra mill.
  5. I tried to get that going when Orris was released. It didn't take.
  6. Ugly, ugly game tonight for Iowa but it's good for them to have one like that.
  7. Pomeroy's ratings are now up. http://kenpom.com/ He has OSU (13-5), IU (13-5), MSU (12-6), Wisconsin (12-6) 2-5, Michigan(10-8) 12, Minnesota (9-9) 26, Purdue (9-9) 37, Iowa (8-10) 53, Illinois (7-11) 54, PSU (7-11) 67, Northwestern (6-12) 90 and Nebraska (2-16) 216.
  8. 24 Big Ten beat writers were polled on how they see 1-12 finishing this year: http://buckeyextra.dispatch.com/content/blogs/hoops-and-scoops/2012/10/10-23-12-buckeyes-3rd-in-writers-poll.html
  9. The Vikings/Cardinals game was brutal. What an ugly win. At least the Vikings next game is this Thursday night and those are never ugly.
  10. Why wouldn't you be worried? Penn State isn't good and it's at Iowa who just won at MSU. Iowa isn't good but they're favored.
  11. Looks like the 3rd base coach was waving him to 3rd which is terrible, but Drew could see the throw before he ran too far off 2nd, he should have recognized it and went back. No. It's not on Drew. He picked up his coach who was waving him to 3rd before he got to 2nd. He did what he was supposed to do. When guys start looking back and making decisions on their own instead of picking up their coach, you get [expletive] like Hardy not scoring in game 2 against the Yankees.
  12. Let's get some discussion for your 4-1, division leading Minnesota Vikings...
  13. Rangers @ A's at 2:30 CT today. Winner takes the division. Unbelievable.
  14. The Vikings pass game was awful today and they still won on the road. That was great. First place feels nice.
  15. Motherfuck
  16. Well that was a hell of an unexpected win for the Vikings. They controlled that game from the first play and were the better team all day. Ponder has some great numbers so far but today was his best game considering that defense and without much going in the run game.
  17. Going by his offer sheet, I would hope not. He tweeted that he received an offer from Illinois.
  18. So is Illinois not going to seriously recruit this Finke kid from Champaign then? Has offers from Iowa and Wisconsin, saw he visited Iowa this weekend.
  19. What about Vikings and Cubs fans?
  20. 27-7 in one-run games. They've won their last 13 extra inning games. The last time they lost an extra inning game was April 11, their 6th game of the year. It's an incredible amount of luck but there's also something to be said for a ridiculous level of confidence and belief.
  21. Yep, Phillies are 3 back, Brewers 3.5 back now. Crazy.
  22. I'm wondering if they'll get to be the worst 5-0 team ever. Than again, there isn't a game on their schedule that I assume is a sure win for them at this point. um don't know if you got the memo but steele jantz is good again. Fortunately, Vandenberg is a stud at home.
  23. I think Goldstein tweeted a few days back that lost amidst the Jackson/Vitters/Rizzo talk, the Cubs have found a solid everyday catcher in Castillo. There really should be no doubt that he's the guy next year.
  24. He's been really impressive defensively in my eyes. I like him a lot more than I probably should.
  25. Luke Recker was a saint. Until his senior year.
