Whaaaaaaa? I had to look for myself but according to the play-by-play on Cubs.com, the only swinging strike he's had was the first pitch to Nady last night. That's insane.

That's all you need. I don't see Minnesota being at the bottom of the league if Mbakwe comes back. The Big Ten is going to be crazy next year. Better than it was this year.

Did you already have your tickets pre-arranged before you left? I've always heard about how difficult it is to get tickets or outrageously expensive it is to buy from scalpers. Then Dan Dakich tweeted that he bought them Saturday morning right outside the front for $100 and downplayed the cost or difficulty usually associated with them.

I've read Xavier multiple times regarding Rice. His release contained a clause that he cannot transfer to a school in Iowa.

It's either WR or DB for this slot. They've signed a couple of veteran nickle depth guys at CB and Cook should be back for next year but they still have a need for a legit starter. They have a huge hole at safety but I don't think I like Harrison Smith enough to take him this high. The Minnesota Vikings select Alshon Jeffery, WR from South Carolina.

More importantly, why are players fleeing the program? What is that, 4 or 5 this offseason? The Burndidge (or however you spell it) transfer is kind of weird from the outside. He's from Michigan and had to know this was a possibility. Unless he completely hated it there or hated Beilein, why not wait a week to see if he would be the starting PG on a top 25 team?

He should worry about the KSU fans, you know the ones that protested his hiring outside of Bramlage during his PC. is this really true? I haven't been following the story too closely. Not sure about that but I saw a link to their message board which had one of the biggest meltdowns I've ever seen. A decent number of their fans want players to transfer and recruits to back out so they can get this era over with as soon as possible.

Purdue or Indiana guys watching this? Pretty high level for an all-star game. Actual defense and moving the ball offensively. Big Ten guys looking pretty good. Dekker is going to be a stud, Robinson is a really good athlete. Gesell had a couple of sick passes as did Johnson.

McGary's at some academy in the northeast I think. I'm drunk. Our guys are going to show up your guys on the same team. Well Gesell and Johnson will be competing for PG minutes. You better hope Pat Ingram told Mike to take it easy on his guy Johnson or he'll knock him out in the huddle.
