If he hears long term and thinks 10 years from now or something, I probably agree with him. I'm fine with Barney as a starter through his arbitration years, but probably not longer than that. Is he saying no to stopgap also?

    I'd also put Brenly in a different category. He just really hates lack of hustle and calls it out whenever it happens. He was critical of Theriot for boneheaded baserunning and has had plenty of minorities that were his favorite players.

    Really? You probably saw them more than I did last year but I like Klein and think they should be a top 20 team. I think it may have been Mandel who saw their ranking and thought they were very underrated.

    Yeah I remember Lew Ford being a board favorite here in the Transactions forum. I remember a lot of outrage and laughter directed at the Twins when they traded for Shannon Stewart.
