    Bruce, I have to agree with you on Jimmy. He is one of the best and I am thrilled to see him finally get another shot albeit under really poor circumstances. I do hope it works out for him...I need to get in touch and wish him luck. Met Jimmy a good 10 years ago when he save me from the lecherous Manny Alexander (Manny, leave the nice lady alone...LOL). wait a minute, did you used to work for the cubs? don't tell me, just casually reveal details about it in every single one of your next 500 posts.

    You are weird. i was going to say something about it, and then i saw the his slg is all the way down to 431. i wouldn't say that i'm "not at all impressed," but he really needs to start hitting for some power. No he doesn't. Lou needs to move him out of the No. 5 spot. What Kosuke's done so far this year has been more than acceptable. Sure, it would be nice if he had 8-10 HR's right now and a .500+ slugging percentage. But I'm not going to complain about him as long as that OBP remains where it is. even with a 409 obp, a sub 850 ops is still just that. hard to get too jacked up about my stud right fielder with that number hanging over his head.

    Not for non-deficient baseball players. link So then Ankiel just took it after he got hurt to look ripped. Ok. Whatever lets you think he didn't cheat and is a natural I guess. He took it because he thought it would help him. I said as much in my first post. If someone wants to call that cheating then that's fine (I don't even remember if it was banned or not), it's just not performance enhancing. It's not about what I think anyway. It's the prevailing medical opinion. My fandom has nothing to do with the argument. i'm not sure what argument you're trying to make here, but ankiel definitely was/is a cheater. i really don't know what kind of defense this is supposed to be, if it even is a defense. "it probably didn't do anything, so it's okay and i still love the [expletive] players who cheat and screw up baseball."

    Short of everything Florida athletics, I can't think of a more spoiled fanbase in the last three years than UCLA basketball. You suck, my friend. Thanks. I'm enjoying every moment of it...my junior year was the worst season in UCLA basketball history since before WWII and my senior season was only marginally better. This is just amazing. i'm rooting against ucla solely because you were an ahole and rooted against illinois when they were good, and in favor of unc at that. i hope kevin love gets hit by a bus. ucla does not deserve a good team.
