Not the point. The point is we've already had 2 guys thrown out at home, squandered a bases loaded 1 out situation with 0 runs to show for it, squandered a runner on second 0 out situation with 0 runs, completely botched a dropped third strike play with a lacksadasical throw to first. If we play this game soundly, we are up 5-0

I was also the game thread starter for the 7 game winning streak in 2005. Can't remember how I did last year...probably not good.

You know whats funny? The 2 losses that I've taken the hardest this year for some reason is the last game at Texas and the extra innings Houston game. In both cases, I was about to come up, and in both cases the Cubs have gone on a bit of a streak afterwards.

Unfortunately my FSN is blacked out here so I can only listen to the the commentators on "Superhomer: WGN." Len and Bob aren't homers. I think they are, but we're not going to get anywhere arguing this so I'll stop. Every team's announcers are homers. I think Len and Bob for sure have their homer moments, but what do you expect?
