    I don't hate Rolen. Always thought he was a pretty good guy. Those other guys can go to hell though. Pujols is about as good of a guy that you'll meet... still hate him. I ahve actually heard the opposite. The media tried to make him out to be one, but he really isn't. Wrong, I talked with him for about 5 minutes on opening day 2006 at Wrigley. He was extremely nice and signed autographs for about 15 minutes. Wow, were you sitting in the RF bleachers? If so I was right next to you because I talked to him and my friend got his ball signed by him. I even threw a flask down for him to sign but he didn't sign it.

    Except if it gets called at this point it's a suspended game. With the Cubs losing the full inning would have to be completed for it to be a final. I'm pretty sure thats incorrect.

    That one pitch outing by Pignatello was a lot worse than his last one pitch outing on Saturday.

    Jeez, all we do is hit solo HRs. We can't win many games without other runners getting on base and of course timely hits.

    Wow, can we do anything to get Lilly an extra 1-2 days rest before his next start. He has pitched like complete garbage his last 2 starts.

    We're not winning. But we would be if NU had beaten USC at the Rose Bowl in 1996. Well yeah, the complete and utter defeat of USC in all events, athletic or otherwise cures all evil in the world.

    Between this and going to USC, you are dead to me. :) Does it help that I rooted for Northwestern when they met USC in the Rose Bowl all those years ago? No because they lost that game.

    I think if you get thrown out trying to stretch a single into a double or a double into a triple and theres no error you shouldn't be credited with a hit. Just my opinion

    Lilly with his second straight mediocre to bad start.

    I agree it sucked, but we can't really prove that we were going to win the game. It was the 3rd inning, we had 1 IF hit, and while Z was obviously looking "on", he has collapsed mid-game before after cruising early.

    I really hope this is just a bump for Lilly, we can't really afford to Lilly to slump the last 40 games of the season.
