I think this team was built for the regular season. The offense was built to pound pitchers who give up mistakes constantly. They face a good team, they lose. We were a victim of the bad NL Central. The only series we won against a winning team in the second half of the season was against the Brewers.

Oh yeah, at least we don't have to worry about all those traffic tieups on Sunday now.

Leadoff double for Chris Young (basically)
  13. UMFan83
The best way to get the Cubs out is to roll the ball to the plate apparently....

Quick pessimistic poll: Will we have a lead this series?

The 1998 Cubs hit .181/.220/.234 in the 1998 NLDS I have a feeling the Cubs offense is going that way this series. We might just never get it going.

It's taking my mind off the anticipation for this game. Nerves are shot and the game hasn't even started yet.

  22. UMFan83
Thanks again. I love the fact that we are ending the season against the Brewers, as well as starting it.

The 2001 Yankees disagree with you.
  24. UMFan83
OK Cubs... Go 3-0 or 3-1, you move on. Go 2-2, or 1-2 or 0-2, you go home.
  25. UMFan83
How do you know that your game threads would have inspired the Cubs to victory like mine did?
