  1. I am there every day and I can assure you this team does not "hate one another." oh come on.
  2. Why wouldnt you have used Hoff right there? because hoffpauir is terrible and jake fox is good. Hoff is still the right call against the RH Harang. but he sucks though.

  4. yeah, i'm gonna go ahead and pencil glaus in for a 20 homer second half. come on, people.
  5. so he's basically disproving his own terrible argument. good job (?).
  6. lol what is this supposed to prove? that weeks wills himself to score better than soriano?

    Week 16

the shittiness of this season has been capped off by brett anderson's koufax-esque resurgance since i released him. it's amazing i'm within shouting distance of the playoffs considering all the flops i have coupled with robert's good fortunes. oh well, if nothing else soriano and rollins have boosted their trade value over the past week or so in case i'm hopelessly out of it by 7/31.
  8. ok, maybe it's time to lock this one up.
  9. um...people are making jokes here. take this stuff elsewhere. i mean, derwood's even being half-way funny.
  10. oh, and congrats.
  11. i dunno, eight hours of uninterrupted sleep feels pretty good.
  12. the real travesty, however, is that now OMC is going to start rambling about john lennon and pearl harbor.
  13. omg 9/11. wrigley23 was right.
  14. dick move, roast. dick move.
  15. whitlock also said that michael jackson did as much to bring the races together as martin luther king. so take anything he says with a grain of retard.
  16. who cares. if you use fox in the 7th as a pinch-hitter there's a decent chance the cubs are losing anyway. so they have to use fontenot as the catcher and they lose by four runs instead of three. big deal. i've never understood why everyone is so terrified of using a backup catcher as a pinch-hitter. the worst case scenario is extremely, extremely unlikely to happen and the end result is one stupid loss. big deal. I don't understand why the bolded is the case. The Cubs could well be up and bring Fox in to further increase the lead. ok, whatever, 64% of the time the cubs would be behind.

  18. growing ironic moustaches was funny when you were like 18. also, there is a 0% chance that ryan franklin isn't an absolute gigantic douche with a beard like that. 0%.
  19. there is no way in hell a manager puts a starting pitcher that is in the rotation behind the damn plate to catch. come on.
  20. who is pitching? i'm assuming gamecast is broken because it still shows heilman pitching despite the fact that he's allowed five baserunners while getting one out and i know that can't be the case.
  21. good for fantasy purposes.
  22. yeah, all the good 3b are on teams in contention. which is why raw couldn't get a ton for wright and why he and i matched up well for a trade. i probably could have got a better SP than hamels for peavy, but i wanted to be able to get a SP and a 3b. hopefully i can keep teix, wright mccann and maybe hamels? haven't looked a whole lot at how much they're on pace to score. i think i've had just about enough of jimmy rollins.
  23. i think i may be the only team in the league sporting an offense of guys all owned in 96% or more of leagues. of course, my pitching...
  24. yeah, i've held on to atkins in hopes that he gets traded to boston. even being mediocre he would stumble into a decent amount of points in that lineup. but when you have the chance to trade for a 3b with five homers and a starting pitcher on the verge of being in the top 60, you just can't pass it up. :D
